SME Ministry Awards KRW 3.6B in Startup R&D Support—Mobility One Among Recipients
On the 3rd, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups finalized agreements with companies selected for the 2023 Startup Growth Technology Development Project, Didimdol Service R&D, which provides approximately 3.6 billion KRW in support to around 60 companies.
This project, part of the SME Technology Development Program, is an enterprise-led initiative designed to support the growth of startups that have been in business for seven years or less and have annual sales of less than 2 billion KRW. Eligible companies must meet specific qualifications per sub-task, and the project aims to enhance their R&D innovation capabilities step-by-step.
The target recipients are startups without prior R&D experience with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, seeking to develop new services or business models. The program offers up to 120 million KRW per year, covering up to 80% of the total R&D costs, and supports projects for a maximum of one year through an open competition approach.
Mobility One Inc. was selected as a recipient with the project titled "Development of Integrated Remote Control SaaS Service for Land/Sea/Air Unmanned Mobile Units." Through this initiative, Mobility One plans to refine their solution and officially launch the service in the first half of 2024.
