Mobility One Wins Excellence Award at 2026 Gyeonggi Startup Flex

Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Award for M1UCS Technology and Business Growth Potential

Expanding into Defense, Construction, Environmental Monitoring, Public Safety, and Overseas Markets

Mobility One, a specialist in integrated drone and robotics operations, received the Excellence Award at the “Startup Challenge IR” held as part of the 2026 Gyeonggi Startup Flex. The company was also presented with the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award.

Recommended by the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Mobility One participated in the event held on October 13 at the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups. The company presented its business achievements, technological competitiveness, market strategy, and future growth plans.

The 2026 Gyeonggi Startup Flex was organized to bring together the startup development capabilities and networks of regional support organizations and expand investment and business collaboration opportunities for promising startups.

Nine organizations participated in the event, including the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, the University of Suwon, Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency, Sungkyunkwan University, Kyonggi University, Dankook University, and Seoul National University’s Siheung Campus.

Seven promising startups recommended by participating institutions took part in the Startup Challenge IR demo day. Each company presented its core technologies, business model, market-entry strategy, and growth plan to investors and representatives of startup support organizations.

Mobility One was selected as an outstanding company for its proprietary M1UCS platform, technological capabilities, business achievements, and market growth potential.

M1UCS, which stands for Mobility One Unified Control System, enables different types and brands of unmanned vehicles to be managed through a single platform. These include multicopters, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, and quadruped robots.

The platform supports automated mission division and allocation, simultaneous multi-vehicle operations, real-time video and sensor monitoring, flight-route management, and integration with multiple communication networks. M1UCS can also be provided in different deployment formats, including cloud SaaS, on-premises server, and PC-installed versions.

Based on M1UCS, Mobility One is expanding its business into aerial surveying, infrastructure inspection, marine environmental management, industrial complex monitoring, water-supply accident surveillance, and defense reconnaissance.

The company is also developing LiDAR- and SLAM-based autonomous flight technologies for indoor, underground, and confined environments where GPS signals are unavailable.

Mobility One holds registered patents related to heterogeneous drone and robot integrated remote-control systems and flight simulation technology. M1UCS has also received Grade 1 Good Software certification, strengthening the platform’s technical reliability and commercial competitiveness.

The company has participated in a range of technology-development and commercialization programs, including TIPS, the Startup Leap Package, and open-innovation and demonstration projects conducted with major corporations and public institutions.

Mobility One was recently selected as a partner company of the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center. Through this partnership, the company plans to pursue defense R&D and commercialization projects in surveillance and reconnaissance, manned-unmanned teaming, and integrated multi-vehicle control.

The company is also expanding internationally through its operations in Bangladesh and technology and business partnerships with organizations in the United States, Vietnam, and other overseas markets.

“This award is particularly meaningful because it recognizes not only the technological capabilities of M1UCS but also our business achievements and potential for sustainable growth based on real-world drone and robotics operations,” said Hyunwook Ryu, CEO of Mobility One.

“Investment itself is not our final objective. We will use new resources to advance our products, recruit specialized personnel, develop AI-driven autonomous mission technologies, and accelerate our expansion in both domestic and international markets,” he added.

The event also featured one-on-one investment consultations, a Big Tech Connect program involving Amazon Web Services and NAVER Cloud, an AgeTech expert seminar, a startup founders’ talk session, and an exhibition of outstanding AI transformation and digital transformation applications.

Building on this award, Mobility One plans to strengthen cooperation with the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, investors, and industry partners while accelerating the domestic and global expansion of its M1UCS-based multi-drone and heterogeneous unmanned-system operations business.
