Alux Decides on Strategic Investment in Integrated Control Startup “MobilityOne”

Combining Hardware Strength with Software Platform for Global Expansion Synergy

Alux Co., Ltd., Korea’s leading drone company, announced that it has made a strategic investment in Mobility One Co., Ltd., a startup specializing in integrated control platform technology, becoming its second-largest shareholder.

This investment marks a significant step in Alux’s transition from a hardware-focused drone business to an integrated platform-based ecosystem company. It is expected to generate strong technological synergies and accelerate global market expansion.

Founded in 2022 by former engineers from Doosan Enerbility’s drone platform division, MobilityOne has successfully commercialized its own integrated drone and robot control system, M1UCS (Mobility One Unified Control System). The platform enables unified operation of heterogeneous unmanned vehicles (UxVs) across land, sea, air, and indoor/outdoor environments.

M1UCS supports LTE, RF, 5G, and satellite communications, allowing real-time monitoring and control of multiple drones and robots. It also offers advanced features such as mission flight simulation, object recognition, automated safety inspections, and optimized flight path planning. The system has been validated through pilot projects with public institutions such as the Jeju Provincial Police ITS Control Center and Gimcheon City, while demand from private drone manufacturers and logistics/security firms is rapidly increasing.

MobilityOne provides M1UCS in both SaaS and on-premise models, steadily expanding its share in the integrated control market. In large-scale aerial surveying, the platform enables simultaneous operation of five fixed-wing drones, covering 100–200 km² per day—delivering significant cost savings and speed improvements over manned aircraft, with strong potential in digital twin and geospatial industries.

Through this investment, Alux will integrate MobilityOne’s platform technology into its own product line. By equipping its self-developed VTOL drones and swarm drones with M1UCS, Alux expects to evolve drones from simple flying equipment into intelligent, industry-specific solutions.

Both companies plan to expand drone applications across smart city digital twin monitoring, public safety and disaster response, industrial plant inspection, marine pollution management, and logistics automation. Designed for scalability, MobilityOne’s technology also supports integration with quadruped robots, surface robots, and indoor/outdoor logistics robots, with the potential to evolve into a single-operator integrated system for multiple unmanned platforms.

This investment aligns with Alux’s post-IPO strategy of technology internalization and global expansion. Having won CES Innovation Awards in both 2024 and 2025 and demonstrated export success in North America and Southeast Asia, Alux possesses annual production capacity of 500,000 units. With MobilityOne’s software technology added, Alux is set to transform from a drone hardware manufacturer into a comprehensive drone solutions provider.
