Mobility One Selected as a Partner Company of the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center
Becomes the Center’s 61st Partner Company, Accelerating Entry into Defense Projects and R&D
Mobility One announced that it was officially selected as a partner company of the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center during the “2026 Second-Half Partner Company Agreement Ceremony and Networking Meeting,” held on September 9 at Daejin University. Mobility One has joined the center as its 61st partner company.
The event brought together representatives from Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, Daejin University, the Korea Research Institute for Defense Technology Planning and Advancement, and newly selected partner companies. Participants introduced their technologies, discussed potential applications in the defense sector, and explored opportunities for technology collaboration and commercialization.
Established in February 2026, the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center selected 38 partner companies in the first half of the year and an additional 33 companies in the second half, bringing the total number of participating companies to 71 in its inaugural year.
The center supports promising small and venture businesses in Gyeonggi Province seeking to apply their technologies to the defense sector. Its programs include identifying defense R&D projects, connecting companies with military requirements, supporting field demonstrations and commercialization, and expanding access to domestic and international markets.
Mobility One is a specialist in unmanned systems and the developer of M1UCS (Mobility One Unified Control System), a unified operating platform for heterogeneous drones and robotic systems. M1UCS enables the integrated control and monitoring of various unmanned platforms—including multicopters, VTOL aircraft, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, and quadruped robots—through a single platform.
The platform supports multi-vehicle mission assignment and simultaneous operation, real-time video and sensor monitoring, and integration with multiple communication networks. Mobility One is also advancing its “Dynamic Swarm Control” technology, which enables multiple drones to maintain formations, change configurations, and reassign missions in response to changing operational conditions.
These technologies have significant potential for defense missions such as coastal and border surveillance, CBRN hazard detection, disaster-area search operations, critical infrastructure protection, logistics support, and manned-unmanned teaming.
Pocheon City plans to support partner companies throughout the entire commercialization process by utilizing specialized defense testing and demonstration infrastructure, including the Seungjin Scientific Training Center, the Darakdae Test Range, and the Drone Special Free Zone. Support will range from technology development and military requirements matching to field demonstrations, commercialization, and market development.

Mobility One plans to cooperate with the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center and related organizations to identify new defense R&D opportunities and expand technology demonstrations and commercialization in areas including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, manned-unmanned teaming, and integrated multi-domain unmanned systems management.
